The ability to send an e-mail every day to an account-specific email address which logged the day’s values of my metric. E.g., “h4” would be shorthand for a value for health of 4 (out of 10).

This is more clumsy solution than other proposed alternatives for updating metrics from sources other than the websites. Though if you have access to an e-mail client, does that not guarantee access to web browser with which to update your metric status?
