If I can’t get on to enter my metrics, say, on Tuesday but I want to retroactively edit them on Wednesday, it seems like I can’t do that right now. Could you add a way to add metrics for past dates?

Count me in. I prefer entering my metrics just before I go to bed, but sometimes my parents don’t allow me to (I’m sixteen years old)... So I really like the idea, it would make my metrics much more accurate.
